The Old Apostolic Church (OAC) is committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people, transcending barriers of race, culture, gender, and social standing. Our mission is rooted in Christian and humanitarian principles, aiming to positively impact society by living out the teachings of Christ.
At The Old Apostolic Church, our core aims are to:
Spread the teachings of Jesus Christ to all people, fostering spiritual growth and discipleship.
Contribute positively to society through actions rooted in respect, dignity, and equality for all.
Ensure that all members and officers are law-abiding citizens in the countries where the Church operates.
Adhere to sound business practices, effective resource management, and transparent governance aligned with our Constitution and global best practices.
Create a supportive environment where members of all ages can grow in faith and contribute to the Church’s mission.
The Old Apostolic Church is a multigenerational community with a strong focus on children, youth, and young adults. Our Church activities and programs cater to the general as well as specialized needs of individuals across all age groups.
Mentorship is central to our community life, with parents and officers playing a crucial role in guiding the younger generations. This ongoing interaction ensures that the Church becomes not just a place of worship but a way of life for its members, fostering a unique culture that is passed down through the generations.
It is a common phenomenon across our congregations that many members who have grown up in the Church go on to become officers, dedicating themselves to the service of others.
The doctrine of The Old Apostolic Church is firmly rooted in the Holy Scriptures, regarded as the infallible Word of God. We believe that the Holy Spirit breathes life into these scriptures, guiding us to live as true disciples of Jesus Christ.
Our officers are selected from within our congregations based on their demonstrated commitment to the Church’s teachings. They receive continuous spiritual tuition and are deeply involved in congregational activities. Importantly, these officers serve voluntarily, without any form of remuneration, dedicating their time and energy to leading and supporting our Church communities.
The Old Apostolic Church provides facilities that meet the needs of our members wherever they are. Church services are held in dedicated halls or rented facilities, ensuring accessibility for all congregants. In some cases, services and gatherings are also hosted in the private residences of members and officers, fostering a close-knit community.
All Church properties are wholly owned and unencumbered, reflecting our commitment to financial stewardship and long-term sustainability. As urbanization and membership growth continue to drive demand for new congregations, we are expanding our infrastructure through new buildings, rented facilities, and the acquisition of Church halls from other denominations.
The Old Apostolic Church is more than a place of worship; it is a family that spans the globe. We welcome you to join us in this spiritual journey, where faith, love, and community come together.
Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people, The Old Apostolic Church is a global community rooted in faith, love, and service. Join us in living out Christian values and making a positive impact on society.
